Homemade DIY Recipes for Hair Masks

All the DIY Tips and Tricks You Can Apply At Home

If you want healthy, vital looking hair, you probably know that great hair is not achieved by using hair style products: Great hair is a result of consistent usage in nourishing hair care products which boost hair with all the vitamins and minerals it needs.

With constant usage of nourishing hair products such as Hair Serum and Hair Oil, your hair will look and feel at its best and most importantly be protected from damage due to the weather.

So In order you boost your hair's vitality, we summed up DIY homemade recipes for nourishing hair masks.

One obvious benefit to DIY hair treatment is cost saving, but other benefits are simply the ability to customize treatments for your own special needs. Let's get started

How to Enhance Your Hair Color?

We are all familiar with this scenario - you dye your hair. It looks great and shiny for the first two weeks but then your hair starts losing its shine and the overall appearance of the hair becomes tired and faded.

So in order for you not to color your hair more than it needs, use this DIY home recipe to enrich and boost your hair color immediately. It is advised to use this recipe two weeks after dying your hair.

If you’re a brunette: Use coffee rinse!

Take one teaspoon of ground coffee, blend it with warm water and apply it on wet hair after using a herbal shampoo. Leave the coffee rinse on your hair for 10-15 minutes and then rinse with cold water. Your hair will look richer and the brown tones will deepen.

If you’re a redhead: Use a cranberry rinse!

Take 100 grams of mashed cranberries. Blend it with warm water and apply it on wet hair after using a herbal shampoo. Leave the cranberry rinse on your hair for 10-15 minutes and then rinse with cold water.

If your hair is blondYou probably do have more fun because the rinse for your hair is… champagne!

Champagne will bring out any golden highlights. Take one glass of champagne and apply it on wet hair after using a herbal shampoo. Leave the rinse on your hair for 10-15 minutes and then rinse with cold water.

How to Boost the Shine for tired looking hair?

We have all experienced, at least once, tired looking hair: hormonal changes in our body as well as weather changes - they all affect our hair and as a result - the hair responds with "bad hair days". If you want (who doesn't?) to skip bad hair days, or just take care of your hair before a big event - use this one of a kind homemade recipe:

2 whites of 2 eggs (remove the yolks and keep the whites only)

2 drops of coconut oil

The egg whites are for protein and the coconut oil is for moisture. Mix together in a bowl and heat for 30 seconds in the microwave. Apply to damp hair for at least 15 minutes and then shampoo out and enjoy the shine!

How to Thicken Hair?

Did you know? Pumpkin is packed with potassium; it is a great source for promoting hair growth. It’s also rich in vitamin A which is great for the scalp. Potassium and vitamin A are two important ingredients to boost your hairs vitality and growth.

The recipe:

2 cups pumpkin (chopped and cooked)
1 tablespoon coconut oil
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon yogurt

Mix all of the ingredients in a food processor or blender. Apply the blend on dry hair and cover hair with a plastic cap - it will enhance the nourishing process. Leave on hair for fifteen minutes. Wash thoroughly using a herbal shampoo.

And remember - DIY homemade treatment, is great as a supplementary treatment for great looking hair. It is advised that on a daily basis you keep nourishing your hair with quality nourishing hair products. If you haven't used our professional hair series line yet - check it out-
